Winter Break

I had a good time during winter break. During the break I mostly rested. I did my homework during the first week. I manage to complete my ap comp sci project during the break. I completed the coding and I finish taking a video. I spent the break with my family and I had a great time with them. I met my cousins during the break, and we played video games together. I watched "quiet place" movie. I went to visit Mexico to meet my family there. A couple of CTR experiences was me helping my family clean around the house

the internet is broken response

Tim Berners, the creator of the internet, is claiming that the internet is "broken".  He says the internet is no longer open. He mentions concerns such as privacy, ads, hate speech and fake news. Berners states that the government, companies, and everyday people can set the web back to its original course. Berners created the contract for the web which outlines the principle to protect the internet as a basic right for everyone.

I agree with Berners except when he states that the internet is no longer open. I think the internet is way too open for everyone and thats the reason why we even up having concerns such as hate speech and fake news because anyone can do what they want on the internet.

This applies to me because I am always using the internet and I feel like this contract may have a impact on me when I want to use the internet.

Software Engineer

You need to know advance math skills and creative problem solving ability for designing, developing, and testing computer programs. Involves long periods of coding and you get to work in many projects such as designing games or tweaking things.

 

Reflection: This job might interest me because I feel like I would be involved in many different types of projects.

Computer science summary

Computer science helps develops a students computational and critical thinking skill and it teaches them how to create new technologies. Its the study of computers and their algorithmic processes and how they impact society. This course will focus around 7 ideas at the core of computer science and they are creativity, abstraction, data, algorithms, programming, internet and impact, and these are fundamental to computer science and applicable to analysis in many disciplines. Computer science helps prepare people for multiple career areas and 48 college majors.

Summer Activities

During my first few days of summer break I was recovering from a illness that lasted up to 2 weeks. After I recovered I got a gym membership at planet fitness and for the rest of the summer I went to the gym almost every morning and exercised for a hour and a half. My parents started cooking new things and I got to try them. During the summer I went to yogurt land for the first time and I was surprised by the choices they had there and all the toppings they had. Through the summer I slowly learned the very basics of map creating on a program called hammer.
